Must have experience of a mesmerizing sunset at Kapu Beach Light House
After a delightful drive along the palm-lined lanes along the Arabian coast in the southern Indian state of Karnataka, One can reach at Kapu beach around quarter after four in the evening. The view is le the sun shining brightly and lot of humidity in the air. Though many people made several trips to Udupi and Mangalore, but miss to visit Kapu at the correct time of day to experience the famed spectacular sunset.
The beach was largely deserted, with the exception of a few folks playing in the waves. It was fascinating to watch the enormous waves that slammed into the boulders and sent splashes flying high into the air. Near the lighthouse, a little rivulet connected to the Arabian Sea. It was entertaining to see a large group of tiny crabs moving along the edges of the shallow stream that flowed out from the coconut plantations. When they returned from the day’s catch, a few colourful fishing boats were parked on the sand. More people began crowding on the beach as the sun dipped slowly below the horizon; most of them were college students from the neighbouring universities.

As the clock hit five o’clock, people rush to the lighthouse entrance. The place fascinated by the spiral staircase within the lighthouse. One has to start climbing the stairs with the joy of a kid, only to quickly find that they got steeper as one go higher. Once you reach higher you could see the sea unfolding itself in front via the little windows constructed on the lighthouse wall along the stairway. The light room, where the spiral staircase came to an end, included a PV light source that was encircled by several reflectors to enhance the light. People usually carry camera to capture the view, climbing the last set of stairs from the cabin was the most difficult.
The view was beautiful from the lighthouse deck. Beyond the horizon, a beautiful view of sea is seen. The little cloud puffs floated elegantly in the clear sky. The wind caused the coconut trees to sway as though they were playing a symphony. Those surfers who were walking and having fun appeared to be small toys. A ship was slowly making its way towards the coast from across the sea. A group of gulls played casually in the canals, while a factory’s chimneys could be seen peeking out from behind to dominate nature. The water and the land were bathed in the sun’s golden tones as it had begun to slowly descend toward the horizon, the lighting was great, too.

Everything on the beach had gone amber due to the lowering sun. There were more people playing on the beach now that the tide had subsided. The ocean water had become molten gold. It is said that the beach near the Kapu Lighthouse was regarded as one of the best places to see sunsets, and the reasons for this were pretty clear. The moment the sun turned into a full ball of orange and fell into the water beyond the rocks was the highlight of any trip to Kapu Beach. A few individuals were having a good time on the boulder, and capture a few silhouettes to freeze the moment in time.
Thus it is just as a day on which the sun painted the world gold! It is really amazing to have a look to such a beautiful scene.
